International Games Day
Saturday, November 3
Bremen Public Library will join more than 1,000 libraries around the world for International Games Day.
From 10 to 11 a.m. will be Nintendo Wii games such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl and MarioKart in the Children's Department. No advance registration is necessary.
In the afternoon, students in sixth grade and older are invited to utilize the library laptops to enjoy free game play at GameTable Online, a gaming website that offers online versions of several popular board games such as Tsuro, 10 Days in Africa and RoboRally. If you prefer, you can bring your own wireless equipped laptop. On Saturday, participants at the library will have access to all of the games at GameTable Online. In order to participate, young adults must sign up at the Adult Department desk in advance. They may choose to play from either 2 to 3, or from 3 to 4.
In addition, board games will be available in the Children's Department for everyone to play during regular library hours, 9 - 5.
