Potato Head Week

National Potato Head Day falls on April 30th each year, but here at the the Bremen Public Library, we decided the Potato Heads deserve a whole week! Check out all the spud-tacular programs we’ll have going on May 1st through 6th.

• Stop by the lower level to decorate potato heads on the felt wall, and participate in a scavenger hunt.
• Submit an entry for the Potato Head coloring contest. Pick up coloring sheets in the Children’s Room.
• Each day in the Adult Department, search for a life-sized Mr. Potato Head to win a prize.
• On May 3rd at 4:00, grades 6-12 are invited to a “Guess That Chip” program. Registration is required.
• Patrons are invited to a potato bar on May 4th from 11:00-1:00 as a giveback to the community.
• Regularly scheduled Preschool Storytime will include potato painting.
