Book Clubs
Bremen Public Library has seven book clubs. Each group meets monthly to learn, enjoy and share their opinions and ideas about books. One member leads the discussion with questions and ideas to get other members to participate with their points of view. Everyone is welcome! Please stop by if you are interested in joining a group, or e-mail a specific club leader directly.

“Every page is a potential threat.” Step into the shadows with Book Club is Our Alibi, our new psychological thriller and suspense book club. Each month, we will unravel dark secrets, hidden motives, and heart-pounding twists that keep us guessing until the very end. *Ever After Dark – Starting in January 2026*
Step into a world where magic meets the heart with Ever After Dark, our fantasy and romance book club. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. to explore stories filled with passion, adventure, and enchantment. Night Owls
The Night Owls Book Club first met in October 2010. From historical fiction to horror and romance to science fiction, we like to read a little bit of every genre to help keep us up past our bedtime. The Night Owls meet on the second Monday of each month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sonia Hernandez, shernandez@bremen.lib.in.us, is the current leader of the group.
Once Upon a Crime
The Once Upon a Crime Book Club was formed in June 2020 to meet a growing interest in the genres of suspense, mystery and thriller. This group meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Their slogan is, “Get a clue, read!” Darla, dkiefer@bremen.lib.in.us, is the current leader of the Once Upon a Crime Book Club.
Overbooked
Overbooked launched in January 2023. Overbooked reads and discusses all those classic and contemporary literature books that you’ve been meaning to read but can never find the time. This group meets on the first Monday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Their slogan is, “Because it’s not hoarding if it’s books.” Sonia Hernandez, shernandez@bremen.lib.in.us, is the leader.
Questers
The Questers Book Club was formed in June 2000 due to the popularity of the Readers group and the need for an additional group. The Questers meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Their slogan is, “Reading give us somewhere to go when we have to stay where we are.” Reannin, rsoule@bremen.lib.in.us, is the current leader of the Questers. *The Readers Book Club has joined the Questers Book Club.*
Silent Readers
Need a little quiet in your month? Join us for the Silent Reading Club — where the only sound is the turning of pages. Bring your favorite book, find a cozy spot, and enjoy an hour of uninterrupted reading in calm company. No assigned books, no discussions, no pressure — just the joy of reading together, in silence. See you on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6-7 p.m. Karly, kharper@bremen.lib.in.us is the leader of this group.
